Extending and upgrading modern homes in Whiteley
Whiteley's detached and link-detached houses from the 1990s and 2000s are structurally straightforward, which means the budget goes on space and finish rather than remedial work. The most common project is a single-storey rear extension with bifold or sliding doors that turns a modest developer kitchen into a proper open-plan kitchen-diner, and garage conversions are close behind, because so many Whiteley garages are used for storage rather than cars.
Loft conversions work on the house types with enough head height, and a growing share of our work here is simply doing the interior properly: a bespoke kitchen, bathrooms with wall-hung sanitaryware and underfloor heating, fitted wardrobes and joinery, and flooring throughout. On the newest North Whiteley homes, garden rooms and home offices are the usual first project.
